What side and/or vegetable recipes would go well with grilled lime garlic shrimp?

some sort of cajun riceWhat side and/or vegetable recipes would go well with grilled lime garlic shrimp?
Grilled lime garlic shrimp is a very bold and tasteful dish so I would suggest you mellow it out with a cool cucumber tomato and onion salad. Dice the tomatoes, thinly slice the onion and peel and slice thin the cucumber. Depending on your preference of the vegetables you can alter the amount you want. The in a small sautee pan take a half a cup of balsamic vinegar and two to three table spoons of honey and reduce it on medium low heat until it becomes a syrup like consistency. It should coat the bottom of a spoon. When finished drizzle over vegetable medley and enjoy this complex slightly sweet reduction syrup. What side and/or vegetable recipes would go well with grilled lime garlic shrimp?
grilled baby potatoes; steam baby potatoes in steam bag or over the stove for about 7 mins, then toss them in some oil, season them up and grill them on the BBQ for a couple mins. You can steam some Broccoli, grill some zucchini with red peppers and tomatoes. Chop up some cucumber, peppers, onion, and tomato and toss them in some olive oil with some lime juice. Grilled asparagus would be good as well. Whenever I grill something I always like to keep the same kind of theme and I like to try and grill everything!
ooh, some nice ideas so far....

our favorite side dish as of late is creamed spinach...

olive oil, saute some chopped garlic and onion, add spinach, cook down slowly, do not burn the garlic...

take out, drain and chop

to the skillet, add some cream or half and half, salt pepper, and nutmeg..yup, nutmeg...

cook down until cream is reduced, add spinach back in, blend. add some grated parmesean cheese...

heaven...

good luck..
Shrimp always goes well with rice: plain or rice pilaf ..... A crisp green salad with Balsamic Vignarette and sliced red onions ...... Coleslaw with a lime-oil-vinegar dressing (and add some shredded jicama) would be good too .... a fruit salad (especially citrus or tropical fruits)
