Vegetable Pizza (easy and delicious - fun to make for kids)

INGREDIENTS:

2 (8 ounce) packages refrigerated crescent rolls

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened

1 cup mayonnaise

1 (1 ounce) package dry Ranch-style dressing mix

1 cup fresh broccoli, chopped

1 cup chopped tomatoes

1 cup chopped green bell pepper

1 cup chopped cauliflower

1 cup shredded carrots

1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Roll out the crescent roll dough onto a 9x13 inch baking sheet, and pinch together edges to form the pizza crust.

Bake crust for 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Once finished cooking, remove crust from oven and let cool 15 minutes without removing it from the baking sheet.

In a small mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, and dry Ranch dressing. Spread the mixture over the cooled crust. Arrange broccoli, tomato, green bell pepper, cauliflower, shredded carrots, and cheddar cheese over the cream cheese layer. Chill for one hour, slice and serve. Enjoy!

Buy ready-prepared pizza bases and put on different veggies, such as sweetcorn, strips of pepper and sliced mushrooms, then let the children choose their own toppings.

Try jazzing up porridge by adding some dried fruit, such as raisins or dried cranberries, or stirring in some mashed banana and a pinch of cinnamon.

Its lovely and so easy for children!
One of the best ways to get little kids to eat new foods or things they don't usually want to eat is to have them cook with you. However, you are asking for a recipe idea so I would suggest something like mashed sweet potatoes with brown sugar. Kids are easier than you would think as long as it's sweet or looks fun they will usually try it especially if you make it look like something they already like.
Vegetable lasagne is a good one - mix peppers, grated carrot, grated courgette, mushrooms, onions and any other veg you choose into the layer mix.
When I was younger my parents would hide vegetables in mashed potatoes.
my brother usually hate vegetables....

but he loves zucchini with seasoned salt.
i would refuse to eat a 9 year old vegetable!
